With sustainability deeply ingrained in its brand DNA, Electrolux partnered with Goumbook – a leading social enterprise that promotes sustainable actions – as part of its initiative for cleaner, healthier living.
Inspired by Ghaf trees, a regional symbol of well-being, Electrolux pledged to plant 5,000 Ghaf trees every year as part of the Give a Ghaf tree planting program. To drive awareness and education from grassroots, Electrolux ran community events and interactive workshops in schools across the UAE, engaging both adults and children to plant and dedicate a Ghaf tree seed to loved one as a testament to their participation in the program.
Give a Ghaf became a consistent part of Electrolux MEA’s annual CSR activity, resulting in 20,000 Ghaf trees in the UAE.
